Security & Privacy

Your training documents and generated content are valuable.
We protect them with the same standards banks use for financial data.

How We Protect Your Data

When you upload a document or generate a training module, your data travels through a secure pipeline:

  1. Your document is encrypted during upload (HTTPS/TLS)
  2. Stored in Google Cloud Storage with bank-grade encryption (AES-256, unique key per file)
  3. AI processing via Vertex AI — neither Kaizumi nor Google trains on your data
  4. Generated modules and summaries are stored in our secure database with row-level access controls

Storage Security

Your documents and generated content are encrypted at every layer

AES-256 Encryption

Every uploaded document and generated module is encrypted at rest using AES-256 — the same standard used by banks.

Unique Encryption Keys

Each file gets its own unique data encryption key (DEK). One compromised key can't unlock other files.

Signed URL Access

Content access uses time-limited signed URLs. Links expire automatically, preventing unauthorized access.

AI Processing Security

Your data is processed securely and never used for AI training

No Data Retention by Google

AI processing happens within Google's secure infrastructure. Under Google's Cloud Data Processing terms, your data is not retained after processing.

No AI Training on Your Data

Neither Kaizumi nor Google uses your uploaded documents, generated modules, or any user content to train AI models.

Summaries Only

We store the AI-generated summary of your document — not the raw AI conversation history. Generation context is discarded after your module is built.

Access Controls

Your team can collaborate while data stays protected

Row-Level Security

Database policies ensure your organization only sees its own data. Complete isolation between customers.

Shareable Links

You control who sees your modules. Shareable links allow viewing without an account, and are tied to your subscription status.

Secure Authentication

Cookie-based authentication with HTTP-only secure cookies. All API requests validated server-side.

Infrastructure & Compliance

Google Cloud

Built on Google Cloud Platform with enterprise-grade security and reliability. Automatic key rotation and management.

SOC 2 Compatible

Our infrastructure is designed to meet SOC 2 and ISO 27001 requirements. Enterprise-ready from day one.

HTTPS/TLS

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3. Your documents and training content are protected from upload to delivery.

Security Questions

Where are my documents and modules stored?

Uploaded documents and generated training modules are stored in Google Cloud Storage with AES-256 encryption. Each file has a unique encryption key.

Will my data be used to train AI models?

No. Neither Kaizumi nor Google uses your uploaded documents, generated modules, or any user content to train AI models. Under Google's Cloud Data Processing terms, customer data processed through Vertex AI is not used for model training.

Can other companies see my training content?

No. Row-level security policies ensure complete isolation between organizations. Your data is invisible to others.

What happens to my documents after module generation?

Your uploaded document is moved from a temporary staging location to a permanent, encrypted path associated with your module. Both the original document and an AI-generated summary are retained for the duration of your subscription.

Who can access my shared module links?

Anyone with the link can view the module without an account. Links for subscription modules stop working after your subscription expires (including a 30-day grace period). One-time purchased modules keep their links permanently.
